Details Work in Special Care Nursery (SCN), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Infant Care Center (ICC) settings across a multi-hospital system Care for a patient population including critically ill newborns, pre-term infants, and the ELBW (extremely low birth weight) population Provide pre and post-operative care for critically ill newborns, including those with tracheostomies Manage assisted ventilation including high frequency ventilators (JET and Oscillator), conventional vents, and non-invasive methods such as bubble CPAP, RAM cannula, and HFNC Willing to float between three hospital locations within the system as needed Requirements Active MN RN license or MN Temporary Permit-RN required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience required Strong knowledge of developmental care expected Experience caring for infants requiring high frequency and conventional ventilation, as well as non-invasive respiratory support Additional Information Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents utilizing the nursing process Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other members of the health care team American Traveler Job ID P-737859.
