We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a permanentopportunity in Merced, CA. You will evaluate and treat patients to improveindependence with daily activities, functional mobility, safety, upper-extremityfunction, and overall quality of life while collaborating with aninterdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and/or treat patients to improve ADLs,functional independence, safety, strength, coordination, and quality of life.
- Develop or carry out individualized occupationaltherapy plans of care within licensures scope.
- Recommend or implement adaptive strategies andtherapeutic activities as appropriate.
- Monitor progress and communicate changes to thecare team.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers ontreatment strategies and safety.
- Complete timely documentation and collaboratewith the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapyor Occupational Therapy Assistant program, as applicable.
- Active CA OT or COTA license in good standing,as applicable.
- Current BLS/CPR certification as required by theemployer.
- Strong clinical, communication, documentation,and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the applicable setting preferred.
