This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.What's in it For You:Thrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture, and empowers its employees through continuous improvementYou will join a growing company offering competitive pay and benefitsAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technologyOpportunity for a long term, advanced career pathA culture that values safety first, including training and personal protectionWhat You Will Do:The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the plants business goals and objectives.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of CNC and production machinesPerform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC machines and equipment and ensure timely completion using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Execute regular work orders assigned by Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Analyze breakdowns for possible root causes and identify solutions to prevent in the futureActively support spare parts inventory minimizing downtime while reducing costsEnsure compliance of safety program while performing workSupport lean activities both within the Manufacturing Services department and across the organizationPerform all other duties as assignedPosition Details:Monday - Thursday, 4:15PM - 3:00AMMinimum Qualifications:Understand operation of 2, 3, and 4-way valvesUnderstand operation of single/double acting cylindersMechanical SkillsReplace gearboxes and motorsReplace bearings and chain drivesBasic conveyor adjustmentBasic math and analytical skillsSolid technical skills to understand computerized measuring machines and metalworking processes5 years of experience in manufacturing environment3 years of experience mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of industrial equipment including CNC machines (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan)Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, machine controls and PLC controllersBasic knowledge in electrical systems and PLC controllersAbility to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagramsExperience with micrometers, calipers, and common shop toolsGood computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and CMMS softwareHighly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with strong work ethicPre-Employment Requirements:Drug and alcohol testCriminal background checkColor contrast eye examinations are required to be completed at the employer's discretion or due to requirement to ensure team members maintain optimal visual acuity, which is crucial for accurate performance of the responsibilities of this position.Preferred:Knowledge of shipping practices of UPS, FedEx, and local trucking companies.Physical Demands:The employee is regularly required to stand for the entire work day.The employee regularly lifts and carries 50 lbs. and occasionally lifts and carries up to 100 lbs.Employee is able to work in confined spaces and at heights.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material.
