Job Description: CNC Operator 1st and 2nd shift
Location: Dexter, MI
Pay Rate: Starts at $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Shift Hours:
Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
Night Shift: 4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Monday - Friday Available to work overtime as needed.

Position Overview:
We are in need of at least two CNC Operators, one for the day shift and one for the night shift (subject to change). The CNC department has remained steady even as other areas have slowed down, and we're looking to fill these roles quickly. If you're quality-conscious, mechanically inclined, and want to be part of a supportive team, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Tsugami Swiss type CNC machines, ensuring quality parts are produced and production levels are maintained.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with CNC machines.
• Perform basic cleaning, oiling, and maintenance on CNC machines.
• Stock CNC machines with necessary production materials and supplies.
• Change tools, drills, and inserts as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Use micrometers (OD, ID), calipers, and other measuring tools to inspect parts.
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. or more as needed.
• Adhere to company safety standards and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

• Starting at $18.00 per hour, higher rates based on experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of CNC experience.
• Experience operating Tsugami Swiss type CNC machines is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and quality focus.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A good attendance record is essential.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers/calipers is required.
