That's where you come in. If you believe in these things too, you're our kind of person! We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Financial Systems Analyst located in the Washington, D.C. area. What you'll do: The Mid-Level Financial Systems Analyst will provide business and financial support to D PAE Maritime/SEA 21, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment. Responsibilities: Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets by measuring organizational performance and assessing the effects of various programs and policies on the budget. Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods. Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets. May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures. Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events. Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines. Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action. Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist inthe preparation and closure of action items Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations Attend meetings and program reviews,assistwith compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications asrequired Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients.
