Creare seeks an experienced graphics design professional to produce high-quality graphics to market, illustrate, and explain the benefits, operation and use of Creare’s innovative products for the space, energy, and defense industries. Job emphasis is on producing high-quality visual and technical content—including 2D and 3D graphics, photorealistic renderings, illustrations, schematics, presentation and promotional materials. This role is anticipated to be part-time (20-30 hours/week) but has potential to grow into a full-time position over time. We are open to either direct hire (Creare payroll) or independent contractor/consultant status employment (in compliance with DOL/IRS guidelines).
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and department managers. The position requires a highly creative individual who has strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, excellent communication, and an ability to conceptualize rough sketches, verbal instructions into visually appealing professional graphics products.
Candidates should have an associate’s degree or equivalent technical training and a minimum of five years of related experience. Background or training in industrial design and proficiency in a variety of graphics tools are required, along with skills in photography and videography. Strong spatial conceptualization, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
