Position Summary: This role serves as a project manager within the Blood Culture PMO team, providing strategic oversight of high‑impact initiatives that drive new product development, product enhancements, and lifecycle management. These efforts are aimed at strengthening our Blood Culture market position and addressing the evolving needs of our customers. In addition, this role contributes to continuous improvement of the PMO framework. Job Duties: Leads project teams, ensuring projects' scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met Aligns projects' goal and priority with organizational strategy Shapes business cases, charters, and benefit/value tracking Leads the development of project plans, schedule and budget estimation, and resource allocation Conducts or assists with feasibility studies, vendor evaluations, and proposal reviews, ensuring compliance with project standards Maintains regular communication with stakeholders, clarifying expectations, and providing status updates on project milestones, risks, and issues/solutions Promotes adherence to project management best practices, support team development, and ensure quality control throughout project execution Leads cross‑site, multi‑country team coordination Proactive project risks management in identifying critical risks and implementing robust mitigation plans Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards Perform other duties as assigned 10% travel Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Consistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMerieux promotes Drive for Results: Drive for Results while successfully removing barriers Business acumen to understand how a business operates and how to make it successful Participate in a way that enhances team performance and cohesion Effective Presentation Skills - including the ability to present technical data Solution oriented in the face of conflict Project Management Skills (Project Planning & Execution, Project Leadership, Project Budget Management, Project Risk Management, Stakeholder Management) Business Acumen (Business Plan, Project Value Delivery to the Org) Education and Experience Requirements: BS Degree: Engineering, Technology, Life Sciences, Business, Project Management 5+ years of professional experience years' experience in program/project management within a PMO or similar environment, including leading cross‑functional teams, managing multiple projects, driving governance, and working with senior stakeholders. Hands‑on experience with project and resource management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Planisware, or equivalent) to support planning, tracking, and reporting. Skilled in presenting project updates and recommendations to senior leadership, using data‑driven insights to support decision‑making Proven experience in a regulated environment, ideally within IVD, medical device, or life sciences, with strong knowledge of design control, quality systems (ISO13485), and regulatory requirements (FDA, IVDR, CE). Proven track record managing new product development (NPD) and/or product lifecycle projects from concept through launch, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and compliance. PMP Certification preferred Experience working with outsourced development vendors is a plus Salary and Benefits: Estimated salary range: $89,800 – $143,300. The role is eligible for a variable annual bonus based on company, team and individual performance per bioMerieux's bonus program.
