Wire EDM Operator

Job Description Our Client in New Kensington, PA is seeking a passionate and skilled Wire EDM Operator to join our team! Pay: $20 - $30/hr Hours: Mon - Fri 6AM- 6PM Responsibilities Work from blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) files Set up and operate Electrical Discharge Machines as necessary for the manufacturing of specific tooling components. Perform routine maintenance on wire EDM machines for daily operation. Must be able to perform basic wire-EDM functions including removing slugs from work pieces. Ability to run multiple wire-EDM machines as needed. Measure, examine and test, as required, to ensure the completed components for conformance to specifications and free of defects. Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers, comparators, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and load test equipment. Requirements Completion of high school diploma or GED equivalent. Five years working experience in similar work environment. Blueprint reading, metalworking, drafting classes. Ability to use common tools. Possess strong mathematical skills.
