The nurse will be responsible for providing care for medical patients with an emphasis on cardiovascular disease. A team of 7-8 patients will include 1 RN, 1 LPN, and 1 Nursing Assistant. Collaboration with various health team members is essential to deliver quality patient care. The registered nurse will act as a patient advocate. Weekday shifts are required, along with every other weekend. Floating to other areas may be necessary based on facility needs. Requesting time off during major holidays should be limited. There is no call requirement for this position. A team nursing approach will be utilized with a patient ratio of 1:7.
