Job Description

We are seeking a Fund Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting J.P. Morgan's Corporate & Investment Bank. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fund administration operations, mutual fund accounting, and daily NAV production and a proven ability to deliver accurate and timely Net Asset Values while collaborating across internal and client stakeholders .

Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and timely daily Net Asset Values (NAVs).
• Create ad hoc client reports and support daily production oversight.
• Perform quality assurance checks on data from internal supporting functions.
• Partner with clients to resolve queries and provide premier client service.
• Create, maintain, and update fund procedures and ensure compliance with controls and company policies.
• Support onboarding by working with new business teams and clients.
• Complete scheduled work by deadlines, sign checklists, and retain required supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with investment operations, reconciliations, shareholder services, and financial reporting to meet external client deadlines.
• Identify process efficiencies and risk reduction opportunities.
• Develop thorough knowledge of assigned client base, prospectus, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• 1-3 years of experience in fund administration operations with understanding of mutual fund accounting and administration.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and application of accounting principles.
• Experience with securities, stock market instruments, and fund operations.
• Ability to operate in a global environment and matrix organization with strong collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound decision-making.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio; ability to prepare clear presentations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working across multiple business areas to deliver results.
• Client relationship management with influencing and negotiation abilities.
