Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring dysrhythmia management and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Care for cardiac and CVA patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Floating may be required within the hospital based on patient care needs
• No block schedule requests permitted

Requirements

• Active Washington (WA) or compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code Teams
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Monitor and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and respond via Rapid Response/Code Teams as needed
• Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, and must be disclosed at time of consideration
• RTO requests cannot be modified after initial submission
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
• Travel pairs accepted
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
