Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, establishing a clinical baseline for their treatment plans.
  • Design and implement personalized physical therapy programs, regularly modifying them based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized equipment to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments administered and outcomes achieved in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate patient education sessions and workshops to advise on strategies for preventing further injury, as well as on home care exercises to empower patients in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will involve working with a diverse population of patients who are managing various orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports injuries, arthritis, and general mobility impairments. You will tailor your therapeutic techniques to address the unique needs of each patient, ensuring that everyone receives individualized care that maximizes their recovery potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid New Jersey State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Possess strong clinical assessment abilities to create effective treatment plans based on patient-specific goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective patient relationships and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Experience with advanced orthopedic treatment methodologies and tools.
  • A certification or specialization in orthopedic physical therapy will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
