Human Resources Partner

Job Overview We are looking for an HR professional to join our team as a Human Resources Partner in Pullman, WA. In this role, you will coach employees and supervisors on various personnel topics, handle employee relations issues with utmost professionalism and confidentiality, develop and roll out career ladders in partnership with subject matter experts, manage initiatives and projects to improve processes and procedures, recruit and hire the best employee‑owners, teach and train employees and supervisors on standard HR processes and complex behavioral topics, and provide exceptional customer service to those you support. Typical Day / Responsibilities Facilitate meetings to resolve issues, provide objective feedback, and make recommendations for both individual employees and managers. Provide counseling to employees and management by interpreting company culture, values, and policy, and employment law promptly and accurately. Maintain current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations and maintain legal documentation. Maintain broad understanding of data relevant to HR areas; manage reporting requests and interpret data for others. Work with management to draft and supply updated policies, reports, and disciplinary documents. Actively source and recruit, interview, and hire employees. Support Human Resources training efforts. Work independently using initiative to propose solutions to problems. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Minimum of four years experience within Human Resources or a related field. Knowledge of employment law and legal hiring practices and procedures. Excellent listening, interviewing, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem‑resolution skills. Skills in investigating and successfully resolving Employee Relations situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion with sensitive information. Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently within a team environment. Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with an HRIS system and processes. Preferred Qualifications PHR, SPHR, and/or SHRM certification. HR Generalist experience. Location Pullman, WA Benefits Competitive pay with a salary range of $76,050–$112,385 per year. Employer‑funded stock ownership plan (ESOP) and personal 401(k) options.
