Job Summary

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support purchasing and sourcing operations in a hybrid work environment. This role is responsible for procuring materials, equipment, supplies, and services of a specialized or complex nature while ensuring compliance with established purchasing policies and procedures.

Job Description

• Procure non-engineering materials, equipment, supplies, and services in accordance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Source suppliers and identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities.
• Update pricing, supplier information, and part numbers within the ERP system.
• Set up and maintain vendor records and documentation.
• Manage day-to-day purchase order (PO) processing and vendor communications.
• Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
• Recommend and support process improvements related to procurement activities.
• Prepare and issue bid requests, specifications, requests for proposals (RFPs), and formal bid invitations.
• Evaluate bids, quotes, and proposals to select qualified vendors and suppliers.
• Support contract administration and supplier performance management.
• Monitor purchase changes, revisions, and change orders as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Shift: 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm M - F

Skills Required

• 1–3 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience required.
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, sourcing strategies, and contract administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Education

• Highschool diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $28 - $38 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
