The Physical Therapist provides goal-directed, activity-oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in functional mobility and daily life tasks. As a member of the health care team, the physical therapist works closely with other rehabilitation disciplines, nursing, physicians, and case managers to provide patient-centered care. Patient/family and community education are essential components of this position.Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' mobility and motor function to assess functional performanceDevelop and implement goal-directed, activity-oriented treatment plansPromote optimum independence in functional mobility and daily life tasksCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient careProvide patient, family, and community education on physical therapy and rehabilitationMaintain accurate and timely patient recordsStay current with best practices and emerging techniques in physical therapy**Qualifications****Required**Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy ProgramCurrent Massachusetts Physical Therapy licenseCurrent BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certificationStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team**Preferred**Experience in outpatient physical therapy settingsAdditional certifications in specialized physical therapy techniques**Education and Experience**Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy ProgramRelevant clinical experience preferred**Licenses and Certifications**Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy licenseCurrent BCLS certification**Pay Range:**$38.50 - $53.90The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
