Shipping & Receiving Associate

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily shipping operations. This position is responsible for properly packaging, processing, and shipping customer orders while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Receive incoming orders and pull items from inventory.
Package, count, sort, and prepare printed circuit boards for shipment.
Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other shipping carriers.
Generate shipping labels and required export documentation.
Track outgoing shipments and provide shipping updates as needed.
Communicate with internal and external customers regarding orders and deliveries.
Order packaging materials and maintain shipping supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Expected Results

Accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
Proper packaging and shipment of products.
Reliable communication regarding shipment status and tracking.
Efficient management of shipping documentation and carrier requirements.

Required Skills

Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and other shipping carriers.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software.

Experience Required

Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
Ability to handle packages and shipping materials regularly.
Ability to work in a warehouse or production environment.
