Linux AdminTechnology/Domain: Linux Administration – Redhat, CentOS, Satellite Server, HA clusteringExperience Level: 10 to 15 yearsLocation: Chicago, IL & Indianapolis, IN Onsite from Day 1Job Description: Required Skillsets:Technical Red Hat Satellite experienceRed Hat System Administrator (cert offered)Red Hat Specialist in High Availability Clustering (cert offered)Red Hat Specialist in Enterprise Application Server Administration (training offered)RHEL 6.x and RHEL 7 Server environmentGeneric PuttyStrong understanding of Linux and Unix Server environmentFirmware upgrades and OS/ Security patch update for network switches and storage applianceAdvanced knowledge and experience in Linux RHEL 6.x / RHEL 7 distributionsSupport experience with RHEL 6.x and RHEL 7 Server environmentHandling/ Setting/Configuring LPAR and HAGood hands-on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of Linux environmentGood understanding of HA and DRS environmentOperational support with flexibility for 24x7 supportAIX Enterprise Edition administration, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and patchingActivities:Capacity managementPlan, coordinate, and execute Linux OS and firmware maintenanceFirmware upgrades and install OS patchesOutstanding verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesTraining/certification is a plusLinux Server basic admin knowledge would be added advantageParticipate & run recovery drills once every quarter and restore it back to the production site which will include building backup server and restoring dataReport any hardware issue; coordinate any support/hardware issuesRun capacity planning report to understand the growth and make sure additional hardware is requested on time
