Temp Benefits Specialist

Ultimate Staffing is hiring a Benefits Specialist (Temporary) in Irvine, Ca.

Hybrid Schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote)

$40-$45/hr DOE

Schedule: 7:30 AM-4:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Are you experienced in Benefits Administration and Leave of Absence (LOA) management ? We're looking for a detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to support employees, benefits programs, and leave administration in a fast-paced HR environment.

✅ 3+ years of Benefits Administration and/or LOA experience
✅ Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA accommodations, and leave processes
✅ Advanced Excel skills ( VLOOKUPs required )
✅ Experience working with third-party benefits or leave administrators
✅ Experience supporting employee benefits inquiries and open enrollment
✅ Ability to manage a high-volume shared inbox and prioritize multiple requests

Software Experience Preferred:

Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, reporting, data management)
Outlook, Teams, Word, and Adobe
HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors or Oracle
Benefits administration platforms
Experience with payroll, leave management, and electronic document filing systems

What You'll Be Doing:

* Manage LOA cases, employee status updates, and leave-related communications
* Respond to employee benefits questions and support enrollment activities
* Process payroll-related leave updates and maintain accurate records
* Review vendor invoices and assist with billing reconciliation
* Conduct audits and ensure data accuracy and compliance
* Partner with HR, Payroll, employees, and third-party vendors
