Front-End Medical Assistant/ Medical Receptionist – BHRT & Medical Weight Loss

Position Overview:

The Front-End Medical Assistant / Medical Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and plays a crucial role in creating an exceptional experience. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on patient interaction, multitasking, and ensuring smooth clinic operations while maintaining elite attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

• Pay: $22–$28 per hour (based on experience)

• Bonuses: Available for reaching company goals or excelling in performance-based competitions

Key Responsibilities

Patient Interaction & Front Desk Management

• Be the warm, professional, and polished face that welcomes patients.

• Check in & check out patients , ensuring all paperwork is complete.

• Answer calls, emails, portal messages, and texts , providing accurate information or escalating as needed.

• Manage scheduling efficiently , optimizing provider calendars while accommodating patient needs.

• Educate patients on treatments and products, ensuring they feel confident in their health journey.

• Prepare patient treatments , ensuring accuracy (calculations required, so must be good with math)

• Process payments, invoices, and insurance verifications as needed.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Keep patient records and EHR documentation accurate and up to date.

• Maintain office flow and organization , ensuring everything runs smoothly.

• Coordinate with the back-end team to ensure seamless communication between patients and providers.

Sales & Patient Engagement

• Engage patients in their treatment plans , encouraging follow-ups and adherence.

• Support promotional events and patient outreach initiatives.

Training & Required Study Commitment

• You will be required to complete BHRT training courses and must be able to effectively retain and apply this knowledge.

• You are responsible for mastering the course material and will be expected to pass post-course quizzes.

• You should have an effective study method that allows you to absorb and retain the material so you can confidently educate patients.

• The ideal candidate is an analytical, quick-thinking learner —someone who enjoys diving deep into medical concepts and applying them in patient interactions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent qualification preferred, but not required.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.

• Math Skills to easily calculate dilutions, weeks supply and refill dates

• Proficiency in EHR systems (we use Healthie ) and scheduling software.

• Strong communication skills —you need to be clear, confident, and patient-focused.

Bonus if you:
✅ Have experience in BHRT, medical weight loss, or men’s health.
✅ Have worked in a startup or small business environment and love wearing multiple hats.
✅ Are naturally great at sales, patient engagement, and retention strategies.
