Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - 2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience - Ability to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed - Travel experience - RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam completed - Skills assessment completed Description: This position requires the nurse to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Travelers will be placed on a unit based on the greatest need, whether it is a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit, depending on their skills. Both Med/Surg and Stepdown RN roles require the same credentialing process. All candidates must have completed necessary specialty exams and assessments. This role includes floating to different units as needed while maintaining competency in skill set. Candidates must possess current certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification.
