**CNC Machinist / Programmer **- $30-$35/hr DOE!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a CNC Machinist / Programmer for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $30-$35/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

The CNC Machinist / Programmer is responsible for producing precision-machined components using advanced CNC machining methods. This position requires the ability to interpret technical drawings, set up and operate CNC equipment, and use precision measurement tools to verify that finished parts meet required specifications, quality standards, and production timelines.

• Set up, program, operate, and monitor conversational CNC lathes and mills.
• Produce precision components according to work orders, blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Inspect and measure parts throughout the machining process to confirm dimensional accuracy, material requirements, and overall quality.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, workholding methods, and materials for each machining job.
• Read and understand CNC programs, including G-code and M-code, and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and quality issues to maintain efficient production.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in accordance with established safety procedures and shop standards.
• Follow production schedules and complete work within required lead times.

This role regularly uses CNC lathes, CNC mills, conversational-controlled machining equipment, manual and powered hand tools, and a variety of precision measuring instruments. Common tools may include:

• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Dial indicators
• Gauge blocks
• Other inspection, measurement, and machining tools as required

Location: Kansas City, KS

**Schedule/Shift Details: **First Shift

• Overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or degree in Machine Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of CNC programming and machine-operating experience required.
• Experience with conversational CNC programming is preferred.
• Experience with CNC lathes and mills is required; experience with Mazak-style conversational controls is a plus.
• Experience machining a range of materials, including steel, stainless steel, bronze, cast materials, and nylon or other plastics.
• Minimum of five years of experience using metrology and precision measurement equipment in a manufacturing, machining, or related environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand CNC programs, including G-code and M-code.
• Demonstrated ability to independently set up, operate, and adjust CNC machining equipment.
• Strong blueprint-reading and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in shop mathematics, including geometry, fractions, decimals, tolerances, and unit conversions.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented production environment.
• Ability to lift and move materials or components weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks associated with machine operation and material handling.
