Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Friday, Saturday, Sunday (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience, including pre-op, intraoperative, and post-op phases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure safe and efficient OR operations
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and documentation of surgical specimens and medications
• Uphold sterile field integrity and adhere to infection control and safety protocols throughout all procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in an Operating Room setting
• Ability to work weekend night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• No call requirement for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in surgical environments
