Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description: Title: Quality Assurance Tech I Type (Contract): 6 months Location: North Reading BOS 12 (6 A.M - 2 P.M EST; 2 P.M - 10 P.M EST) Pay Range: $28-$30/hr. Role is more focused on \"Robotics arms\" OR \"Robotics fingers\" Day to Day: Collect high-quality data to support machine learning models used for Client's Robotics systems. Operate and test robotic arms while recording movement and interaction data. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues using Linux and Python when testing environments encounter problems. Execute testing procedures, validate results, and accurately document findings Collaborate with engineers and research teams to improve AI training datasets and robotic performance. Build or maintain basic data reports and visualizations to communicate testing progress and results. Must haves: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Experience with Python and Linux. Basic understanding of software testing, debugging, or QA methodologies. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to follow repeatable processes. Excellent communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment. Plusses: Experience with SQL and/or R for data analysis or visualization. Internship, co-op, or professional experience supporting robotics, automation, AI, or machine learning projects.
