Middle School Science Teacher St. Michael the Archangel Regional School – Clayton, NJ St. Michael the Archangel Regional School is seeking a joyful and inspiring middle school science teacher who strives for academic excellence and has a desire to help our students develop their personal relationship with Jesus. Job Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated science instruction, including regular guided experiments, to 5th through 8th grade students Create a joyful, academically challenging learning environment. Integrate Catholic faith and values into daily lessons and classroom activities Witness and model the Christian faith through daily interactions, actively sharing personal faith experiences and guiding students in developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Create and maintain a positive, supportive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and a love of learning, by developing relationships with students and using classroom management techniques that affirm the dignity of all students. Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student success and contribute to the overall school community Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide events, such as back to school night, parent conferences, open houses, and fundraisers Advise an extracurricular activity or club Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. New Jersey teacher certification (Standard, CEAS, or CE), or out-of-state equivalent. Pastor’s letter attesting to the candidate’s active practice of the Catholic faith. Completion of fingerprinting clearance and VIRTUS training. Commitment to promoting the Catholic mission and values of the school.
