Work Shift The work schedule for this role is Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30‑minute lunch). New Graduates Welcomed Position open to recent graduates. Job Summary Evaluation and treatment of patients primarily in the Rehab hospital and LTAC hospital determined by business need; daily documentation and charging in the EMR; education of patients, families and staff as appropriate; communication of patient progress in clinical conference; communication with other team members daily; preparing equipment orders; contacting vendors for equipment; communication with outside physicians and other professionals. Responsibilities Perform initial and discharge evaluations, set goals and treatment plan, and document appropriately. Develop treatment plan and perform optimal treatment in a timely manner to meet functional goals. Determine therapy educational needs and provide PRN. Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Serve as CI/mentor for interns as needed. Participate in hospital and discipline‑specific skills check. Education Required Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. Preferred: Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. Licenses & Certifications BLS certification from American Heart Association. GA Physical Therapy license or eligible. Experience Required Minimum: 1 year experience in Rehab, SNF, LTACH, Acute (Preferred). Skills Basic computer literacy.
