Recruiting Specialist

HR Recruiting SpecialistWaltonen is actively seeking an HR Recruiting Specialist to join our team!ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire candidate experience across the Waltonen Group, including Waltonen Engineering, Independence Tooling Solutions, and Geometric Solutions.Conduct full-cycle recruitment for all candidates.Make daily outbound calls to candidates for phone screens.Communicate job opportunities to potential candidates and share our company story.Assess skill sets and match candidates to current openings via phone conversations.Create and send candidate summaries to the appropriate hiring managers.Coordinate, schedule, and conduct interviews across locations based on candidate and hiring manager availability.Oversee social media content for online presence for the Waltonen Group.Oversee the onboarding process for all new employees, including conducting orientation sessions, managing new hire paperwork, and negotiating and extending offers of employment.Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company benefits to communicate to prospective candidates.Develop comprehensive job descriptions based on business needs.Maintain job postings on various internet sites (Monster, Michigan Talent, LinkedIn, etc.).Manage the ATS database (JazzHR).Provide weekly recruiting updates to upper management.Provide insights on industry trends (compensation, benefits, hiring, etc.) and recommend appropriate actions.Understand multiple markets and geographies for candidate sourcing.Create and post content both internally and externally for recruitment and employee items.Utilize creative search methods to identify top candidates in today's competitive marketplace.Build a pipeline of candidates through networking and maintaining effective relationships.Proactively explore new, innovative avenues to attract candidates.Attend and organize recruiting events as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience2+ years of related recruiting experienceAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience utilizing a common applicant tracking systemEngineering and/or manufacturing recruiting experienceAbility to multitask and pivot based on changing prioritiesStrong organizational skillsAbility to travel between Warren and Troy locations based on interview schedulesPreferred QualificationsExperience working in the defense, government, automotive, or aerospace industriesExperience with full-cycle recruitmentAll employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.
