The Beautiful Fairfield Inn & Suites is seeking dedicated Banquet Set-up House Person. Company benefits include 401k, employee discounts, and much more. The purpose of a Banquet Set-up House Person is to assure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation through the preparation and breakdown of meeting rooms and banquet functions. Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Uptown Charlotte is a premier destination for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. Located in the heart of Charlotte's vibrant uptown district, we pride ourselves on delivering memorable experiences to our guests. Wage between $17 - $18 per hour based on experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Breakdown banquet rooms and event spaces.
• Removing all garbage from banquet rooms and event spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout events.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service.

Experience/Education

High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Previous experience in banquet service preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays and Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service.
