Financial Analyst

Journey is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Financial Analyst to join our leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of the organization and ensuring financial stability, growth, and accountability across all operations. This role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment and excels at both strategic planning and hands‑on execution. Key Responsibilities BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Management required. Master of Business/Finance/Accounting preferred. Two to five years of relevant finance experience with an understanding of financial and accounting statements. Financial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to tackle problems given limited resources and time, have a strong work ethic, and carry out deadlines. Able to work with ambiguity and changing priorities. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in health care finance preferred, but not required. Position may require travel to trainings, facilities or meetings off‑site. Essential Job Functions: Combining an understanding of finance, practical knowledge of financial statements and reports to use data to make and drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Journey’s operational growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved. Perform analytics required to synthesize multifacility datasets and produce concise outputs to deliver business insights, reporting and analyses, and recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership. Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance. Work cross‑functionally with the broader Finance team, Operations team, and Accounting to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operations. Actively participate in the target setting and annual/quarterly planning processes. Lead all aspects of the monthly close process ensuring financial and reports are accurately maintained in accordance with Journey’s policies and procedures. Pursue continuous improvement in all areas of the business with an emphasis on Operations, service delivery, Accounting, and Finance. Optimally assist in numerous projects at a given time in a fast‑paced environment.
