Job Description
As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Rancho Mirage CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a healthcare location where you will help support a welcoming environment through screening activities routine presence and strong communication with patients visitors and staff. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access protocols and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Screen patients visitors vendors and/or staff at designated entry points by checking identification confirming authorization and following visitor management procedures.
- Monitor entrances and waiting areas for unusual activity policy concerns and/or individuals needing assistance and report security-related issues in a calm professional manner.
- Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations with a calm problem-solving approach while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Support a professional environment by giving directions answering general questions documenting required information and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Hospital-required vaccines are required.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Must have 2 or more years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
