Key Job Details – Pediatric Cardiac ICU RN Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44106 (Ohio nursing jobs) Facility: Pediatric Cardiac ICU (12-bed unit, opened November 2023) Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Contract Start Date: August 24, 2025 End Date: November 22, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910-$1960 Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 2:1 for ICU care; 3:1 for intermediate care RN Qualifications – Pediatric Cardiac ICU Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio RN Critical Care certification (CCRN preferred) Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric ICU nursing experience Strong clinical skills in critical care and cardiac nursing Proficiency in immediate cardiac post-operative care, inotropic medications, mediastinal chest tubes, central lines, arterial lines, neonatal care, advanced airways, and ventilator management EPIC EMR experience preferred Ability to deliver family-centered care in a pediatric setting Completion of all required onboarding health and professional documentation Pediatric Cardiac ICU RN Responsibilities Provide expert nursing care to pediatric cardiac patients in both intensive and intermediate care settings Manage post-operative cardiac patients, including monitoring and administering inotropic medications Care for patients with mediastinal chest tubes, central and arterial lines Deliver neonatal care and manage advanced airways and ventilators Support patients and families through family-centered care practices Document nursing care and interventions using EPIC EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Apply now to join our healthcare team in Cleveland, Ohio, and make a difference in pediatric cardiac nursing!
