Job Opportunity
Ballad Health Medical Associates is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our growing team in Abingdon, Virginia. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to serve community patients aged 17 and up in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.
Position Highlights:
- Multidisciplinary team: Psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and master's level therapists
- Outpatient focus with Tele-Health integration
- EPIC EMR system across all Ballad Health locations
- Monday–Friday schedule – No weekends!
- Optional PRN inpatient shifts available
- Nearby referral hospitals and mental health facilities
- NP supervision/collaboration included
Qualifications:
- BC/BE in Psychiatry
- Active DEA license for prescribing controlled substances
- Open to new graduates
