About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbia, South Carolina, 29203!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 to 26 weeks option Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH required Must-Have: Strong Cardiac Stepdown experience Description: Strong Cardiac Stepdown nursing support needed. Responsibilities include managing patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, and arrhythmias. Must be proficient in cardiac telemetry and the administration of blood products. Experience with starting and maintaining IVs and managing central lines is essential. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and follow heparin protocols is required. Must be able to provide tracheostomy care and manage PCA pumps. Knowledge of isolation precautions and the use of PPE is necessary. Travelers will float to other units as needed and must have demonstrated competencies for tasks. Pre-assignment testing and modules prior to starting the assignment are required. All hours spent on required modules are billable up to a set limit. Commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.
