Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location varies. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients at the healthcare provider's facility. The role includes managing ventilators, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications: CA Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, Epic experience required at least 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, with a focus on acute respiratory failure. Responsibilities include airway management, ventilator troubleshooting, aerosol setup, chest physiotherapy, and invasive and non-invasive ventilation support. Proficiency in electronic charting using Epic is required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must upload valid CA state licensure, applicable certifications, and two references obtained within the last year. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
