Security Officer

Click here for a full view of the job description. Education/Experience Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency high school diploma is required. NYS Certified Security Officer At least two years of security experience working with the public. Experience working in law enforcement. Skills/Abilities Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions, and to prepare clear and comprehensive oral and written reports in English. Ability to learn and to apply standard security procedures and practices, with minimal direct supervision within weeks after employment. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to build positive relationships as well as communication, crisis de‑escalation and physical intervention skills. Strong observational and analytical skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations. Proficiency in using office equipment, security systems and technology platforms, including Google Workspace and other security related applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
