Senior Accountant

Responsibilities Play a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and record general ledger journal entries and maintain supporting documentation. Analyze monthly financial results and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and departmental reporting. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances. Support inventory accounting by performing inventory reconciliations, analyzing inventory activity, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Assist with accounts receivable activities, including cash applications, customer account reconciliations, aging analysis, and resolving billing discrepancies. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Assist with annual financial statement audits and provide supporting documentation. Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Five or more years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. ERP or integrated accounting system experience is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
