Controls Technician

We are seeking an experienced Controls & Automation Technician to support industrial process control systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for PLC programming, troubleshooting, automation project support, instrumentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC and HMI systems. Support commissioning and startup of automation projects. Troubleshoot instrumentation, control hardware, and industrial networks. Develop and maintain control system documentation. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to improve process performance, reliability, and safety. Support control system upgrades and capital projects. Provide operator and maintenance training as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of industrial controls, automation, or process control experience. Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration. Knowledge of HMI development and industrial communication networks. Experience with process instrumentation, field devices, and low-voltage control systems. Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics. Experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or other continuous process industries strongly preferred. Additional Information Occasional travel may be required.
