Position Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: North Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)

Schedule: 100% Onsite | Interview: Video

Job Description

Seeking a pharmacy technician to support daily pharmacy operations, pharmacists, and patients. Responsibilities include prescription processing and data entry, verifying prescription information, coordinating with healthcare providers, supporting patient adherence and medication deliveries, updating patient records, insurance/benefit verification, and handling inbound/outbound calls.

The role will also support pharmacy projects, process improvements, testing, and cross-functional activities while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, HIPAA, and company policies.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of healthcare/pharmacy experience preferred.
Illinois Pharmacy Technician licensure required or ability to obtain.
Experience with prescription data entry and medical records.
Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
Strong computer/data-entry skills;
MS Word/Excel preferred.
Flexible availability between 7 AM–7 PM.
