We’re currently seeking an Engineer to join our team in Thief River Falls, MN. If you have experience with AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, or HEC-HMS software and a desire to create impactful designs that solve real-world problems, we’re willing to provide training to help you succeed in this role. We are especially looking for candidates interested in pursuing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam to achieve their Engineer in Training (EIT) certification as part of their professional development.
Job Description- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS to design water resource and infrastructure projects such as flood control measures, drainage solutions, levees, and hydraulic structures.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams to integrate creative solutions into project designs.
- Prepare design computations, reports, and quantity estimates under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
- Assist in preparing plans, specifications, and permit applications.
- Support construction activities, including on-site observation and coordination, to ensure successful project execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project teams, contributing innovative ideas and insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering discipline.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD is desired, and experience with Civil 3D is a bonus.
- A strong interest in solving problems that directly impact local communities.
- Someone who excels at critical thinking, has a keen eye for detail, and communicates effectively.
- A self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
