Physical Therapist Assistant

Role Physical Therapist Assistant, providing patient treatment, exercise instruction, and education to enhance well-being. Responsibilities Follow state laws and the treatment plan set by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT), performing only qualified procedures. Instruct and assist patients with active/passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training. Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT and healthcare team. Educate patients, families, and caregivers within scope of practice. Qualifications & Skills Licensed, registered, or certified to practice physical therapy in the relevant state. Current CPR certification. Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation. Ability to work effectively in diverse home environments. Willingness to work weekend rotations. Preferred Physical ability to perform tasks like lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility. Compensation ranges from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour, based on experience and other factors.
