Registered Nurse, Home Health

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Home Health (Day Shift) in Du Bois, Pennsylvania.

Schedule/Shift

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends or call required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Home Health will provide care to patients in their homes, focusing primarily on those suffering from CHF, Hypertension, Diabetes, Total Joint Replacement, and Cancer. Experience with Matrix EMR is highly preferred, as is knowledge of OASIS documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including proficiency with devices such as laptops, iPads, and iPhones for documentation purposes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive admissions assessments and document findings.
• Manage patient care including medication administration, IV therapy, and case management.
• Coordinate services and communicate with interdisciplinary care teams.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding their conditions and treatments.
• Complete OASIS assessments and ensure compliance with Medicare regulations.
• Utilize infection control precautions and manage wound care as needed.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and overall health status regularly.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Home Health and acute care experience.
• Must have RN skilled Medicare-certified home health experience (not private home care).
• Strong knowledge of OASIS documentation and care standards.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• OASIS knowledge and experience highly preferred.
