Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized, scientifically fluent Research Operations leader to support the advancement of Abiologics’ discovery and development engine. In this role, the successful candidate will drive scientific operations across research programs, including contracting, alliance management, data room management for BD and Investors, IP coordination, and context review of Board materials. This role partners closely with scientific and functional leaders to keep program information accurate, decision-ready, and aligned across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead scientific operations support across discovery programs, including coordination of program inputs, timelines, and decision materials
• Manage and maintain research data rooms, ensuring materials are current, organized, and ready for internal and external review
• Coordinate IP-related workflows with scientific and legal stakeholders, including tracking disclosures, filings, and supporting documentation
• Review and synthesize scientific context for Board of Directors decks and other leadership materials
• Partner with research, platform, and functional leaders to prepare clear, accurate materials for project reviews and senior leadership discussions
• Drive information flow across teams to support effective planning, prioritization, and execution of research activities
• Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements that strengthen research coordination and information management
• Oversee compliance with good practices in data integrity and laboratory operations, efficiently liaising with external vendors and FSP supporting Functions
• Support cross-functional communication between scientific teams and external partners as needed
• Maintain high standards for accuracy, confidentiality, and timely delivery of critical program information

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in a relevant scientific field with minimum 7+ years of relevant experience required
• Experience supporting scientific operations in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or similarly technical environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex scientific information, build organized data rooms, and support leadership-level materials
• Experience coordinating IP-related processes and working with cross-functional stakeholders on confidential scientific content
• Strong understanding of discovery research workflows and the ability to interpret scientific context across programs
• Proven ability to review, summarize, and refine materials for senior leadership or board-level audiences
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting board materials, committee materials, or executive presentations in a life sciences setting
• Experience working with research and development teams in an early-stage biotechnology company
• Exposure to discovery-stage program management, portfolio tracking, or research governance processes
• Experience collaborating with legal, finance, or corporate development partners on confidential materials
• Ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and drive follow-through across multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated interest in improving operational rigor within scientific teams

The salary range for this role is $179,000 - $235,600. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Abiologics, Inc currently offers healthcare coverage, annual incentive program, retirement benefits and a broad range of other benefits.
