Scheurer Family Pharmacy-Harbor Beach

Pharmacist – Full Time

72 hour/bi-weekly pay

Scheurer Family Pharmacy-Harbor Beach, a division of Scheurer Health, is seeking a full-time Pharmacist. This position will primarily work in the retail setting with minimal hours per pay period supporting the hospital to cover PTO needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Compliance with all policies, procedures, codes, and standards
• Monitoring all medication orders issued by physicians or other authorized prescribers for accuracy, allergies, and interactions.
• Admixing intravenous medications using standard formulas and processes.
• Answering questions and providing information to staff and patients.
• Ability to work both cooperatively and independently.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• Candidate will be a graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by ACPE
• Licensed by the State of Michigan
• The individual will have experience in a hospital pharmacy or the willingness to learn.
