To support the development of large nuclear fluid pumps, the long-term contract Subject Matter Expert in Rotating Machinery will provide oversight during design, testing, and manufacturing while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide oversight for the design, testing, and manufacturing of large nuclear fluid pumps Review supplier deliverables and ensure compliance with design codes and standards Author and maintain specifications, oversee testing programs, and support project planning Required qualifications B.S. in Mechanical or related discipline with 15+ years of mechanical systems experience Experience in large vertical pump design and full hardware lifecycle management Proficiency in fluid and structural analysis, and ability to read engineering drawings Strong background in high temperature and multi-discipline integration, particularly in nuclear handling process systems Demonstrated ability to lead design teams and manage competing project objectives
