About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1+ years License: Must have a PT license in good standing Certifications: Outpatient experience required Must-Have: Must have outpatient experience. MO license in good standing preferred. Any additional certifications pertaining to outpatient care are a plus. Description: Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures, performs objective assessments. Implements comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. Provides general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with our mission, values, and service standards. Conducts initial assessments and develops a plan of care for each patient upon receiving a physician's order. Ensures compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care. Must be willing to work one weekend per month on Saturday. Will float to outpatient and inpatient locations as needed.
