Registered Nurse - CCU

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital Job Description Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Education : Graduation from an accredited BSN program or associate’s degree in nursing, or a Nursing Diploma program. All registered nurses without a bachelor’s degree in nursing will be required to enroll in an appropriate program and complete the program within seven years of their start date. Experience : One to three years of previous clinical nursing experience highly preferred. For specialty areas, a minimum of one year of previous experience in that area is required. Degrees, Licensures, Certifications : Requires current American Heart Association BLS certification. National certification in area of specialty and Non‑violent Crisis Intervention certification preferred. Bonus and Relocation : Commitment bonus of $15,000 or higher, based on experience, if eligible. Relocation assistance up to $8,000 if eligible.
