Position Overview

The Housekeeping Houseperson supports the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas. This role is essential to delivering a seamless luxury guest experience by ensuring supplies are replenished, public spaces are immaculate, and housekeeping operations run efficiently behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and service areas
• Support Room Attendants by delivering linens, towels, and amenities promptly
• Stock and organize housekeeping closets, carts, and storage areas to established par levels
• Remove trash, soiled linens, and debris from guest floors and service areas
• Assist with room stripping and preparation for cleaning as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and floor care
• Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with laundry operations, including transporting and sorting linens
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages
• Support deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed
• Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and brand standards

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
• Professional demeanor and positive, service-focused attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
