Position Overview
A leading nationwide mechanical subcontractor is looking to bring The Superintendent - Mechanical will oversee and manage mechanical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong background in mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and/or sheet metal work, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical construction teams to ensure project goals are met.
• Plan and schedule the workflow for mechanical installations and repairs.
• Inspect and review construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve any issues that arise during the project.
• Manage resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in mechanical construction.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
