Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for coordinating and processing various aspects of the on-campus employment processes. Duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinates and executes the recruitment activities from jobposting to hire/pre-boarding for assigned areas. Guides hiringofficials and search teams on recruitment processes and bestpractices in employment. Offers hiring officials’ guidance onpotential recruitment strategies to yield viable applicantpools. Facilitates criminal background checks and pre-employment drugtesting for assigned team. Reconciles vendor invoices. Collaborates with HR Service Center, as necessary. SupportsTalent Acquisition Consultant & EEO Liaison, as needed. Facilitates recruitment status reports, metrics and cost-of-hireanalyses. Stays abreast of employment laws and trends. Responsiblefor requesting services from temporary agencies, when needed. Processes volunteers and affiliates Human Resources Coordinator (AG07/61122884/ FTE -S01179P),full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN08 . Salary range: $45,300.00(midpoint) – $61,100.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Mondaythrough Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs ofthe university. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Exceptional analytical skills, communication andorganizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projectssimultaneously and meet deadlines is required. Strongorganizational, computer and communication skills (oral andwritten). Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.Demonstrated customer service skills are necessary.
