Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: $20-$25+/hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support daily warehouse, inventory, and order fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on shipping and receiving experience , strong computer skills, and experience working with shipping, inventory, ERP, or warehouse management systems.

This position requires someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and timely order processing are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and document incoming shipments
• Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing domestic and/or international shipments
• Verify quantities, part numbers, purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation
• Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, or similar carrier systems
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading (BOLs), and other required documentation
• Enter and maintain accurate shipping and receiving information within company systems
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, purchasing, customer service, and other departments regarding incoming and outgoing materials
• Perform inventory transactions, stock transfers, material movements, and order confirmations
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, inventory reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution
• Maintain organized receiving, staging, shipping, and inventory areas
• Track shipments and communicate delays, shortages, damages, or other discrepancies
• Ensure orders are packaged and shipped according to customer and company requirements
• Follow established safety, quality, and warehouse procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Shipping & Receiving experience required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or fulfillment environment
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Experience with one or more shipping, ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems such as:
• • UPS WorldShip
  • FedEx Ship Manager
  • DHL shipping systems
  • SAP
  • Oracle
  • NetSuite
  • Microsoft Dynamics
  • Epicor
  • Fishbowl
  • ShipStation
  • WMS/TMS platforms
  • RF scanners and barcode inventory systems
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to accurately read purchase orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory records
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
• Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and work with a sense of urgency
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Experience

• Forklift, pallet jack, or other material-handling equipment experience
• Cycle counting and inventory control experience
• Experience preparing Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• LTL and freight shipping experience
• International shipping documentation experience
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
