connectpluseducation.org ConnectPlus is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Virginia in the United States, founded in March 2020 by a group of high school and college students. We seek to make high-quality English education easily accessible to all. Since 2020, ConnectPlus has recruited 500+ tutors worldwide and taught 600+ students across China, logging 10,000+ hours of English instruction. HSE is ConnectPlus' English-tutoring branch. HSE is happy to provide verification of volunteer hours (for community service requirements), volunteer certificates, and recommendations. Volunteering experiences with HSE can also be submitted as part of resumes for college and job applications. Want leadership experience and the chance to do something great for the world? Now, you have the chance to contribute to our global movement by starting a club for Hub for Spoken English (HSE), our English tutoring program, at your school! You’ll be in charge of recruiting, onboarding, and supporting HSE volunteers from your school. To help you do so, you’ll be receiving resources from and actively communicating with us, the HSE team.
